[more for jinx than herself - more so that she can hear a voice - have a line thrown out to her as if she's adrift. it's a guess that she's on the beach - vi is lucky that this has happened before, but she's panicked that jinx might revert to squid form again, and she's unsure what, if anything, has caused it. nothing need have caused it, she probably feel this every day.

sevika showing up had surely not helped any. which figures. now she really wishes she would have thrown that punch.]

( stay put, she says. there's no issue there. and jinx doesn't have the heart to tell her she can no longer move. and even if she could, there's no drive for her to even lift a finger. not when the ghosts are looming over her shoulder -- their grips on her shoulder to weight her further into the sand. )

I doubt that. If you and I can become friends despite our history I find it very difficult to believe you did anything he wouldn't forgive you for.

im fine, i think. just frozen. this prob happened b/c i went against with who im suppose to be.

all these nice things... a monster is not suppose to have. this is my punishment for trying to have it all.

On the other hand, she can kind of understand why Jinx would be saying it. She has those nasty voices in her head telling her bad things, after all. They must be the ones telling her that whatever is going on with her - frozen? - is her own fault. ]
