[The sickly pale girl sat on a thick root of a certain, talking plant. It was large but didn't seem to be whining at the moment. Abigail was grinning, full of teeth, all three eyes looking up at the working maw like it was a pet, or cat.]

My! But they do grow large. I do wonder what might happen if we were to continuously feed them~? How large can they get? Hehehe....

[Naked legs, blackened swung lazily in the air alongside the ribbons that hung around her pale, naked form. She looked wrong, twisted. Her keyblades balanced in her hands, and a large, wide hat sat on her head. The plant she was looking at grumbled.]

"Do not think that you are immune. Some dreams are inescapable."

[She frowned. And the feeling a person was able to get from that frown was sickening.]

Or perhaps not. Well, I certainly wouldn't mind helping to rid people of them. If any find them to be a nuisance.

Nothing is ever really "straight". There are endless turns, twists, ups and downs, to everything. Even a silly movie woth a talking plant.

Oh, I'm sure they're plenty dangerous. Why just imagine how much this one had to feed to grow as big as it has~!

It's not that complicated a movie, not a lot of endless things about it. You'll have to look somewhere else to apply your deep analysis.

It seems like a good time to ask if anybody ever taught you why you shouldn't feed people to evil plants.

I'm afraid not, of course, most would never think of telling me something so silly. Feeding others to a plant? Goodness, only vile witches do such things~.

I'll be the first: don't feed people to evil plants. Not only is it bad, it'll definitely try to bite the hand that feeds it.

That is quite the idea, owning a shop specializing in plants. Heh~. Perhaps this one could be my most expensive specimen.

[A fit of giggles ensues.]

Or it'll simply bite the hands that are thrown it's way. Hmmm~, but do you truly believe that I was the one feeding it? Throwing lives it's way to satiate its hunger? How ghastly of you.

I don't usually think that kids are going around feeding people to plants, and I like sticking to that, but you're really into feeding this thing.

Are you feeding people to it?

And yet that's immediately where your mind went. Say I am, what would you do about it.

I'd tell your parents, but something tells me they're not here so my backup plan is to reject any invites and give you a highly judgmental look.

I'm so very, terribly horrified at the prospect. Truly, whatever shall I do without your approval, sir~.

[She sounds like she's mocking him right now.]

Perhaps, if you should glare at me long enough, you may end up finding yourself without eyes to see. That would be one solution to end your disapproval.

You assume I'd stop judging because I couldn't see? You're underestimating me.

No, I should imagine the pain from the experience would do that. That, and the merciful release from seeing the world through sight alone.

I'm definitely going to have stronger judgments about the girl who took my eyes. A lot meaner, too.

I get you're trying to imply that I'm just using my eyes to comprehend the world, but seeing is a pretty eye-specific thing.

What you perceive isn't always all there is to. Human sight is very limited in what it can see. So what would the harm be if I were to take it away.

[A laugh, an ugly one. The kind that makes a person's skin crawl and shiver and sweat. But theres also a tiny bit of a sweet edge to it. A soft ringing that still draws a person in.]

Hmmmmm... or perhaps that might not end in my own favor. But what do I care~.

[ Maybe Ash should take this more seriously. He does want to keep his eyes. It's just not the first time somebody has threatened that specific torture, and people have tried to play it out. ]

I'd probably stumble into a lot more things until I died and was reborn with new eyes. But you know what they say: death can regrow your eyes, but it can't take away the lessons you learned while you were blind.

[It's an easy one to make, and one of the most frightening. To live in a sightless world is its own, special kind of fear and torment.]

All suffering does end when one returns to the Lord. Or perhaps it only becomes worse.

But what sort of lessons do you believe you would learn? Ones of faith? Humility? Or bliss?

Don't play the religion card after threatening somebody's eyes. You'll never convert people that way.

How many times I can hit my shin because I can't see the furniture, that kind of thing. Trust me, going blind won't restore my faith in anything.
