[The feed starts up, and people who have seen Dipper's ghost banishment post might recognize the backdrop of a messy bedroom and a desk full of books, notes, and dubious magic supplies.]

[It's the same serious looking 14-year-old from the last post, and it looks like he's about to address the network at large with something important-]

Okay, Trench, we need to talk.

[Only that is not the voice that usually comes from Dipper. The differences are now probably a little more apparent. Dipper's hair is up in a messy bun with several pens and pencils sticking out of it. She reaches up to grab one and it does not disturb her hair in the slightest. (How many are actually in there????). Dipper is definitely a girl suddenly, and does not seem to be bringing any attention to it.]

We've had some pretty big incidents over the past few weeks and they need to be addressed. I think it's safe to say that Corruption, with a capital "C", and Beasthood, similarly capitalized, have indisputable correlation.

[Dipper reaches up to scratch at something under her jaw and peels away ...a bit of flaking skin. She makes a face flicks it away. Bleh.]

And if we don't keep a closer eye on it, then we're not going to see an end to watching friends turn into monsters and having to put them down.

We need to brainstorm ideas for battling Corruption, and fast.

( Peter had seen the post a few months back. And he'd debated commenting on it for several days, until finally being too nervous, fading back away into shadow. Though he hadn't forgotten what all the younger teen had said, kept it in mind.

Peter's been trying his hardest to detach himself from the supernatural for as long as he can. But it's become painfully clear that he can no longer do that. It's... a part of him now, part of who he is. And after last month...

Well. Here is the same room, the same username. And once again, the person on the other end is talking about something that reaches right through and grabs hold of Peter, something so important and relevant that it actually stuns him. And this time... he replies back. )

Hello. I don't think we've met, but I've seen you post before. Thank you for trying to help people so much. ( The fact that Dipper was a boy back then and is a girl now is something that kind of escapes him; Peter's memory for the details on people's names, faces, facts, is perpetually hazy and strange due to being,,,, extremely demonically possessed. Half the time he doesn't even know what day it is. )

Last month I was.... really Corrupted. It was bad. ( He frowns, a clear fear tightening in his eyes for a moment. )

I want to do everything I can to make sure it doesn't happen again. And... help other people not get Corrupted. But I don't really understand it much... Do you know what causes Corruption?

[Oh. Dipper is geniuinely taken back by the sincerity of that response. She almost isn't sure what to do about it. Being thanked for trying to help is especially potent, when she was so freshly out of an incident that had blown up so spectacularly in her face, all because she just wanted to help.]

[Dipper manages a small, grateful smile to that, and refrains from asking him if he was the mole-guy from that crazy bartender-rat-man's yard sale post.]

Just um. Just trying to do what I can to help us understand this place. If we don't share information, then it may as well be lost, right? We're all in this together.

[Alright, enough being sappy, Dipper clears her throat.]

I don't know if I know one-hundred percent, but it seems like what I've experienced, and what I've read and heard, it's a lot about your mental and emotional well being, and the blood pollution of this place seeps into it and makes everything worse.

( He does, truly, mean it. Peter's.... quietly in awe of people like this, people who seem to greet those scary supernatural things so willingly, and in order to help other people. It reminds him of Luna. It's how he wishes he could be.

But... he wants to try. And there's a little smile in response to hers: shy and a little nervous, but sincere nonetheless. )

No, you're... you're right. It's kind of easy to feel... hopeless about all of this. But talking about it with other people, sharing what we know... I think it helps a lot with that.

( A reminder that they're all dealing with this together — whatever this even really is. Corruption, Beasthood.... these are very new threats. Very scary ones. )

I can honestly believe that. ( He gives a little sigh, soft. Mental and emotional well-being... ) When it happened to me, I was... in an especially bad place, mentally. I know a lot of people are trying methods to keep chill here, like... meditation and yoga and stuff, but I don't know if that's going to be enough. My girlfriend — she's a witch — had to do a blood ritual with one of the Pthumerians to get me un-Corrupted, so... ( Peter cringes a little. )

...Maybe it's going to take a lot of.... supernatural help? To combat it.
