[The feed starts up, and people who have seen Dipper's ghost banishment post might recognize the backdrop of a messy bedroom and a desk full of books, notes, and dubious magic supplies.]
[It's the same serious looking 14-year-old from the last post, and it looks like he's about to address the network at large with something important-]
Okay, Trench, we need to talk.
[Only that is not the voice that usually comes from Dipper. The differences are now probably a little more apparent. Dipper's hair is up in a messy bun with several pens and pencils sticking out of it. She reaches up to grab one and it does not disturb her hair in the slightest. (How many are actually in there????). Dipper is definitely a girl suddenly, and does not seem to be bringing any attention to it.]
We've had some pretty big incidents over the past few weeks and they need to be addressed. I think it's safe to say that Corruption, with a capital "C", and Beasthood, similarly capitalized, have indisputable correlation.
[Dipper reaches up to scratch at something under her jaw and peels away ...a bit of flaking skin. She makes a face flicks it away. Bleh.]
And if we don't keep a closer eye on it, then we're not going to see an end to watching friends turn into monsters and having to put them down.
We need to brainstorm ideas for battling Corruption, and fast.

Sure thing.
[That was the point of the post, to discuss corruption and way to sooth it. Maybe that is why Falco was worried? Corruption was pretty scary, considering they both know what it did to Dipper.]
From my own experiences, I've theorized that it has a lot to do with mental stability and emotional regulation. So I'm hoping the best way we have to combat it, is to address those facets at their core.

I wanted to say that the . . . Thing, works the same way. Or— it worsens those things. It goes both ways. [ it may be simple, it isn’t actually his forte, but he still attempts input. ] A lot of people would tell me the best thing to do was stay around others and keep distracted.

Yeah, I actually thought it was weird how similar it was. Like ...if something had given Corruption a sentient form, that's how I would describe it.
That makes me wonder if the methods we use for corruption might also help you, too.

[ it’s weird that— he can feel that. augh. ]
What are we using for corruption, right now? [ even though he knows it’s not the forever fix, but it can prolong them— ] Distractions?

Sitting down with a friend for tea or coffee, talking and communicating issues and worries, doing something relaxing, fun, you know. Stuff like that.
It sounds weird but I guess when it's caused by things like over working, paranoia, isolation and depression, it kind of makes sense? I think there's other things, too. I'm gathering up a list of what I learn from this post.
I'll keep you updated on what I find out.

[ it didn’t matter if separate groups broke out on their own, that’s fine, or if one had only two or so close friends, and not everyone meshes— but they’d certainly have to find a solid base of support for themselves. ]
