cw: poop?
[ Tuck's big face takes up the majority of the screen when the feed turns on. He looks, well, a little worried in spite of his attempt to look totally casual. His comically wide eyes are not helping the act. ]
He-llo, everybody. Soooo, we [ meaning Vyng who is speeding back and forth behind him in what looks to be the inside of a fully furnished yurt. ] are missing a vase, and it's really important that we get it back—
Don't open it! [ Vyng shouts from behind Tuck. ]
Yeah, don't open it. It's—
It's full of Tuck's shit.
[ Tuck's bug-eyed stare turns dead and resigned at hearing his friend dredge up that excuse again. ]
Yeah. I have... this compulsion, and I have to shit in this one vase. And I can't help myself! I need it back immediately. So, if you find a vase kind of lying around on the beach—
Remember don't open it! Do not open it.
It will kill you—the smell, I mean! It's been sealed for, like, months. It will fuck up this whole city. From, from the smell. Of my shit.
Just call us and we'll come take it off your hands! Figuratively, though. Don't touch it.
Don't touch it, don't fucking look at it—No! Look at it for, like, a second, then call us, and stop looking at it! You got that?

[He trailed, clearly uncomfortable sitting with the weight of eternity on his shoulders. Although he hadn't asked for any of this, he knew his role-- and, at least in this world, that role didn't involve a task he knew to be impossible.]
It might have had bigger consequences than we thought. But, not having the same control over magic that we did before? It's a small price to pay for what we've gained.
[A chance at freedom, and a chance to live with those who may have died along the way.]
I guess I just wanted to clear things up for you and Mr. Tuck. You both got the right info, but from someone who had a lot of opinions...and those opinions make a mess of the truths.
But, I can still try to help you two find that vase if you need it. A friend has been teaching me skills from home that aren't exactly the same as magic, and this could be a good chance to try it

That's what he tells himself, at least.]
Good for you. [Vyng means it.] If you're seeing this as a fresh start, I'm sure you'll make the most of it. And really come into your own, you know?
[That's the only choice any of them have, really. But for Oscar, it's clearly a relief.]
What kind of skills are we talking here?

[Oscar grinned shyly, happy to explain something cool that he had only learned about recently.]
It's a really high level skill for someone in their twenties like he is to be good at, but he uses it all the time. He's blind, so he uses it to make up for what's missing...
[He trailed, not wanting to get too deep into Fox's personal details.]
Anyway, he started teaching me because he noticed that I'm not that good in a fight and he thought it could help make everything a little more level. We've got a few things in common, too-- so it's been neat to learn.
I guess, what I'm trying to say is that we can probably use it to track this vase down. Since it's been with you and your partner for a while, I'm going to guess it's got, well, kinda like your finger prints on it.
That is, if this even works as well outside Remnant as it seems to for my friend.

Like sensing somebody's spiritual essence? Cooooool...
[There's technically nothing stopping Vyng from trying to tap the local spirits for clues. But it can be a volatile ability under the wrong circumstances (or on the wrong day). That's one reason why he wanted to see if other Sleepers could help first.
Something belatedly occurs to him, though:]
Wait, does that mean you'd be able to sense what's inside the jar?

[Sass aside, he had never heard it phrased quite like that before.]
Maybe? I'm still learning, so this isn't something I've actually tried before. Fox can do some pretty cool things, though. If I can learn even half of that, and try using it in a way that isn't related to Aura...
[He trailed. Maybe he really should follow Dipper Pines' lead and start keeping a notebook, just to stay organized.]

[Said with mild disbelief. But honestly, he was the one who pushed the shit lie earlier. Did Vyng really expect anything different?]
Alright. Well, if you're offering to look, we'd appreciate the help.
Just...if you do find it, don't open it. Ignore whatever kind of gooey stuff you sense in there. Find us instead. Okay?

[Don't make him aggressively make you both food. Mako already lectured him about cooking for strangers, but he would make exception for people who were friendly with Qrow. ]

And... I'll leave the topper on, if it's got one. If it got washed into the ocean though? Who knows what shape its in.

[They're seasoned adventurers. They've got this.
...Then again, maybe they don't got this, considering they're frantically searching for the vase housing a monster capable of murdering and possessing people. The one thing neither of them could afford to lose.
Vyng grimaces at Oscar's reminder of how fragile vases generally are, and how much the ocean loves breaking stuff. Deep down, he knows it's a long shot to find the vessel intact. They've still got to try, though.]
We'll cross that bridge if we get to it, I guess.
["If" is probably being optimistic, but he's not going to borrow trouble here. They've already got a surplus as it is.]
