Satisfaction? Are we talking about a date, or a job? That is, unless you do your negotiations... behind closed doors.

Anyway, nice ad. What kind of partners are you looking for?

[with that Obi-Wan would receive a quick picture of a large, spectral koi curled up on the floor around Perell's feet, glowering at the camera.]
I am Perell. I also don't want her to shoot water at me again.
How about coffee? Or whatever people do for fun around here?
no subject
Coffee sounds lovely. Or drinks, if that's your preference.

Either-or for the drinks and the venue. You probably have a better idea of what's good, so just say the place and I'll be there.
Although if it's drinks, I will say that I should probably not be out too late. My--
My Nephew might cry again if I'm not back in the morning.

And I'll never say no to drinks.

That sounds perfect.

Yes!
[It might be text-- but can you tell he's excited? Perell was grinning like a goofball. It had been far too long since he had even thought about trying to date anyone-- and he had never even tried to date a General before.
--Right. Casual. Eager, but trying not to seem too eager, Perell continued.]
I mean. I can clear my calendar.
Where would you like to meet?

Sure!

How shall I find you?

Very well. I'll trust you.
I'll be the gentleman with the flower in his hat.

That evening, true to his word, Perell did arrive at the Achilliac. Howver, between his outfit and his hat, he was not dressed appropriately for a location historically frequented by sailors. With his wide glasses, reedy build, and oddly peppy demeanor for a man who looked like he was still rebuilding his strength after a personal crisis, it was hard to miss him.
The large koi who trailed a far enough clip behind to not get his immediate attention was also hard to miss, despite her attempts at hiding.
Stopping at the bar, Perell tipped up his hat in search of Obi-Wan-- and beamed when he caught sight of the man.]
There you are!
[He called, waving as he trotted over.]
This is my first time in this part of town. Sorry if I'm late.
no subject
Not at all.
[ he holds his hands out. ]

Thanks, [he said, lifting his hands to mirror Obi-Wan. A little guidance on this would be nice.]
This is a really neat place. You, uh, come here often?
no subject
Sometimes. I have a certain fondness for places like these.
no subject
[He heaved a sigh of noticeable relief.]
That's great-- because I've no idea what's good here or not. I, uh. I've only been in town for about a month, and there's a lot to learn.
