What are some good songs and bands?

I love Cuts You Up by Peter Murphy and Love Will Tear Us Apart by Joy Division personally, but I'm willing to listen to just about anything.

Except for music for the Terran father god. Yuck.

LOL, I thought I was too friendly to be a goth! And most digital recordings lasted a long, long time, but I heard a song by New Order and wanted to hear more. Then I found out they were originally a band called Joy Division and down the rabbit hole I went!

Then I'd better be careful about listening to them, they may hurt my innocent ears. 😀

I'm not surprised! One of my friends back home listened to similar music, I love her like a sister, but she has terrible taste. I've tried to get her to listen to something else, any something else, but she won't do it. Maybe the stuff about wanting this particular religious figure inside her, she's taking it literally?

Yeah, religious music blows. There is this one Chrisitan rock group that's got a few good songs as long as you ignore the fact they're singing about Jesus and shit.

My personal favorite is All Around Me. Again, you have to ignore the whole "she's singing about Jesus" bit but it's a certified banger.

I know, right? We have our own music about the Mistress, but it's almost all women singing a capella about how they want the Mistress' embrace. That sounds promising, though.

Okay, that was awesome. And the singer is really hot, that helps!

There's so much a capella in religious music. You'd think they were allergic to instruments. And it always comes off like they want to desperately bone their gods.

I haven't heard of the first two, but I have listened to Metallica and love them. Which is your favorite album? Mine is probably "S&M" because it's just so large in scope and drama. That and No Leaf Clover is badass. Which of their albums is your favorite?

And somehow, they managed to avoid it. Not in enough time to fend off most of climate change and there were a few more world wars, but now it's peaceful enough.

Sorry I can't really offer much for music recommendations though since there there's not much I am familiar with. [which might sound odd but this is what happens when you're from a post apocalyptic world]

It's okay, maybe someone else will recommend something you'll like and there you go. A musical path to follow and explore. That's how I found most of the 21st and 20th century music I love.
